In this tutorial, you will create a shaped and hammered pendant frame for two stones. You will add decorative wire ‘pressure pins’ onto the frame while locking in your stones. This is a very basic tutorial, showing the step by step process to create this style of wire wrap. You can add more decorative wires as you create and style your own Sacred Heart Pendant. This is a great tutorial for learning the basics of beginning symmetry in wirework. Certainly, wraps get more complicated and much more precise but this is a wonderful, stress-free wrap to get you started. It’s a beautiful pendant pattern for all skill levels. I hope you enjoy this beautiful pendant design for your heart shaped stones!!

How many hours…? And then what happens?

I decided to write this short article on some simple reminders about body and posture while at the jewelry table. We all know that eventually, the joy and passion of jewelry creation will work it’s way from the beading table over to the computer desk. We love to share, blog, learn more and then sell our work which means you can bet on it, that you will be here too.

I get many emails asking what it takes to get started in this beautiful art form.  That’s much more of a loaded question than one might realize as this art form, is about as endless as imagination itself.  :))

Having said that, I’ve decided to give a post on what I consider to be the very basics and how to figure out exactly where that ‘start point’ might be….

I’ve been reorganizing my studio since the whole Covid thing shut my hands on teaching down… and I found some old silver wire, much of which took on a nasty tarnish… needless to say, I should have stored it better but such as life, I didn’t.  I don’t care for chemical to clean my wires for jewelry making, so here is an easy at home solution…
