lapis 15×15 – adventurine quartz 18×14, enamel black bears + feather, fresh water grey pearls, glass beads, black leather cord
Ursula is a Grizzly bear, who was pregnant when rescued. She with 20 other bears lived in barren concrete pits that were part of a tourist trap/roadside zoo. The zoo was closed when they failed to pay their mortgage. Ursula was afraid of people, but her joyful cubs helped her heal her distrust of humans. She lives at the Wild Animal Sanctuary now. A portion of this sale will be donated to www.wildanimalsanctuary.org
