A small raw, unpolished turquoise nugget with a bumpy, bubbly (botryoidal) surface in soft robin’s-egg blue, and pale tan matrix showing in the crevices. A nice little natural specimen for a collection, altar, terrarium, crafting or display.

Stone ID (please read): the nugget surface, robin’s-egg blue colour and tan matrix suggest natural raw turquoise, and that’s our best guess. It is UNCONFIRMED, and the stone has not been tested. Similar-looking stones include blue hemimorphite and dyed howlite or magnesite, so please buy it as an unconfirmed raw turquoise specimen. Our inventory records list it as from Lapidary Dave of Taos, New Mexico.

It comes in a small black and clear hinged gem display box with a Techno Tink Treasures “Raw Turquoise – Earth’s Ancient Treasure” card. Note: the stone pictured on the card is illustrative art, not this stone. The stone you receive is the one in the photos.

Folklore and metaphysical notes (for interest only, not medical or factual claims): turquoise is traditionally valued as a stone of protection and spiritual strength, called “a stone of the sky and the earth.” It’s a December birthstone.

Stone: approx. 0.92 x 0.67 x 0.57 in, approx. 0.2 oz. It comes in a small gem display box.
Natural stones vary, and the colour may look slightly different from screen to screen.
