You’ll receive a small A+ barite rose specimen in a 1″ acrylic display box. All Rose Rocks are different, but you can expect yours to be as beautiful as the ones pictured. The specimen is not permanently mounted and can be taken out to enjoy. A mineral ID label with locality info is on the underside of the display, and an info card about Rose Rocks will be included.

*What are “ROSE ROCKS”?

Barite rosettes (aka Rose Rocks) are unique geological formations that are found in certain areas of central Oklahoma. They are made up of barite crystals that have formed into a rosette shape, creating a distinct and beautiful appearance. The process of formation of these rocks is quite rare and involves the right combination of weathering, groundwater, and minerals.
