This is a large barite Double Rose mineral specimen collected from Oklahoma county, Oklahoma – home of the world’s most beautiful “Rose Rocks”. It measures about 3″ long and about 1 1/2″ tall. It feels heavy in the hand, has an ideal rust red color, and sharp features. It has damage to one of its barite blade “petals” on the underside, but is still an exquisite specimen. A Double Rose of this size with highly defined rosettes, even with minor damage, is a rare find! Your purchase includes an info card about Oklahoma’s “Rose Rocks” and helps me continue to advocate for the preservation of these amazing minerals!
