Azurite historically was used for a blue pigment and jewelry gemstones. Metaphysically believed to have healing properties, believed to open communication to higher powers, including clairvoyance and spirit guides. Azurite honors the Goddess Athena in Greek mythology, and seen as the stone of heaven in Chinese Mythology.
