*Ultra Rare* Multi-Terminated Auralite23 Canadian Chevron Cluster featuring a Hematite cap with Quartz and Deep Dark Purple Chevron Layers
1943 grams
6.05 x 4.5 x 2.82 inches
From the Thunderbay deposit in Ontario, Canada.
This variety of Canadian Chevron Amethyst with Hematite became referred to as Auralite23 when a small group of Canadian mine owners and a project geologist, whom I know personally, conducted research, and claimed to have discovered a distinct 23 mineral composition within the crystal.
The crystal was submitted off for deeper evaluation via optical crystallography and x-ray diffraction. As a result, the minerals discovered to be present as inclusions in the chevron stone were recorded to include the following: Lepidocrocite, Cacoxenite, Goethite, Pyrite, Bornite, Chalcopyrite, Gold, Silver, Platinum, Uranopilite, Covellite, Sphalerite, Copper, Limonite, Pyrolusite, Adularia, Hematite, Epidote, Magnetite, Titanite and Rutile.
By assay, a total of 35 elements have been identified in various samples of the Chevron “Auralite/Auralite23” amethysts, particularly: silver, gold, aluminum, barium, beryllium, bismuth, calcium, cadmium, cobalt, chromium, copper, iron, potassium, and more!
