A sharp multi-colored Elbaite Tourmaline crystal. This specimen is from Paprok, Nuristan, Afghanistan, and it is 9.5 x 4 x 2.8 cm in size. Elegant, gemmy to translucent crystal, and great luster, it has everything one would want in a Tourmaline crystal. It has a rich pink color on the bottom grading to a few shades of green in the center and changing again to a pink muti-peaked termination. The crystal is complete, it has a few Lepidolite crystals on the side, the base is not broken but a terminated-healed surface. There is a contact area on the back, but no damage, very clean crystal.
