This beautiful, blue Smithsonite exhibits the rare
“rice grain” crystal habit.
The gorgeous little crystals take on the shape of rice grains leading to
a fascinating sample of the species. The
locality on this particular specimen is the San Antonio Mine in Mexico.
The dimensions of the specimen are 3.5 x 1.5 x 3.8 cm.
