A hefty Peridot crystal cluster dominates this piece originating from the uniquely altered rocks of the Kaghan Valley. This specimen is from Suppatt Region, Naran-Kaghan Valley, Kohistan District, Pakistan, it is 3 x 3 x 3 cm and the main crystal group is 2.2 x 1.7 x 1.7 cm. The Peridot group is composed of a prominent, well-formed crystal and some small ones at the base, the crystals are a moderately dark pistachio green color and the largest crystal has well-developed prism faces with a great termination, there are a few small dings on the specimen, very minor, there are also a few, black, metallic, 1 mm Magnetite crystals off to the left side at the base of the piece.
