This piece is a Dragon carved out of a Hyalite Opal crystal. This work was done by Nuang Ballinger at Artisan Jade, Nuang is well known for the quality and detail of his work, he works mostly with unique gemstone & crystal carving. The Dragon is cloaked with mystique and sewn together by the many legends and folklore surrounding its history. Dragon has a diverse range of qualities, emotions, and traits giving it a number of different meanings, most often it carries a reminder of strength, courage, and fortitude, they are messengers of balance and magic. This piece is very well done, a 360 degree carving rich with details, hard to show all on photos. It is 8 x 6.5 x 4 cm and it weighs 18 oz.

The Green Dragon Twist Pen body is made of JUMA Green Mamba, a pearly thermo polyurethane. It exhibits a swirling dragon scale pattern.
The metal fittings have a dragon motif with an antique brass finish. The pocket clip is a dragon, the middle band is a dragon’s claw and the top and bottom sections of the pen have dragon scales. The top of the pen has a tigereye mounted in it. The pen is 5 3/4 inches long and weighs 2.75 ounces.
