A unique Fluorite mineral specimen from Black Valley Claim, Jefferson County, Colorado; it is 3.8 x 3 x 3 cm overall. This specimen was found around 6 years ago and there has not been any more production from this location since then, this is the best example of this find for the size and quality of the crystal. The Fluorite stands on a small Feldspar matrix, the crystal has a purple core, a light green zone, and a darker green top layer, some to the crystal faces have an overgrown of dark purple Fluorite. A very clean specimen with very minor bruises.
