Here we have bixbyite crystals on matrix from a fairly new location that we (topazminer) own and operate and have been developing over the last few years. We have a rhyolite matrix with a highly modified bixbyite crystal. Bixbyite is an (Fe, Mn) Oxide. The bixbyite crystal is well-formed, sharp and has a brilliant black metallic luster.
