A fine example of Agate replacing fossil Gastropod. This specimen dates back to Miocene, and it is from Lahontan Formation, Black Rock Desert, Nevada, the size is 4.5 x 3.5 x 2.5 cm overall and the Snail is 3.2 x 2.5 x 2 cm. The matrix rock hosts numerous small Ammonites and one can clearly see them inside of the Gastropod shell also. It is a polished specimen, and it has no damage.Â
